Reviewing PLAYTECH EGS, a Strong Ally Against Soaring Strings Inflation!

With the recent price increases all over for electric guitar-related items, the prices of things related to our daily lives are also going up.
I am a 35-year-old man who’s married with a child in elementary school. I am just a guitar lover. To be honest, these price hikes hurt! With the rising price of guitar strings, it has become important to find quality guitar strings while keeping my budget in check.

01 Sound/Tone

There is no significant difference in the slip of the strings and the ease of playing. I felt the tension was a little weak, but I feel that my fingers are less fatigued as a benefit. I like this point a lot. If it is for practice, I want to play with a lot of emotion, so I am happy about this point. I think it can be used in the studio and live performances, so if you are playing on old strings, it is definitely better to replace them with these. Playability is a very important factor for players, isn't it? I think they are suitable for guitarists of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.

03 Durability

The lifespan of the strings may be a little shorter than that of high-end coated strings, but I think it is long enough. The durability of PLAYTECH EGS strings is stronger than that of D’ADDARIO strings. The speed of rusting is slower with PLAYTECH EGS. The tuning stability is also good, so there is no need for frequent adjustments. It provides a sense of security while playing.
