The UB-Xa D has all the sound sources and features included in the original, and is equipped with the latest features such as 512 user program memories, making it a synthesizer that is highly compatible with all synthesizers.
Faithful Reproduction and More
To recreate the OB-Xa's iconic growl and sizzle, we went deep into the inner workings of the original OB-Xa and brought it into the 21st century, including all of the original factory patches that made the '80s roar. With VCOs and VCFs based heavily on the original 3340 and 3320 chip designs, 16 voices, and a keyboard split function that allows you to layer two different sounds, the UB-Xa D can produce massive-sounding riffs.
An Icon for Icons
The UB-Xa D is a synthesizer like no other, standing on the shoulders of giants! Its legacy has produced some of the world's most famous artists' biggest hits of the '80s! From Rush's Geddy Lee, Police, and Prince to Van Halen and Brad Fiedel's Terminator theme, the UB-Xa D's lineage is filled with great artists.
Total Recall
One of the most rewarding parts of playing a synth is tinkering for an hour (or four) to find the tone you've been looking for. That's why we've included up to 512 User Program memories to store any setup you come up with. You can also assign User Program memories to the Preset Recall switches, so you can instantly change presets while jamming.
