It faithfully reproduces the sound and playing feel of the original.   ビーチ・ボーイズ（The Beach Boys）の共同創設者であるブライアン・ウィルソン（Brian Wilson）が逝去したと、ご家族が発表しました。享年82歳でした。
  1961年、兄弟のデニス、カールと共にビーチ・ボーイズを結成。初期はサーフ・ミュージックやホットロッドをテーマにした楽曲を中心に活動していましたが、フィル・スペクターの影響を受けた極上のメロディや、内省的な歌詞などにより、他のサーフ・バンドとは一線を画す作品を生み出しました。プロデューサー兼アレンジャーとしての才能を発揮し、その結実として1966年には後に名作と称されるアルバム『ペット・サウンズ』を発表。また、同年には名曲「グッド・ヴァイブレーション」も大ヒットを記録しました。
  1970年代以降はさまざまなトラブルやスランプに見舞われながらも活動を続け、1980年代以降も秀逸なソロ・アルバムを発表し続けました。なかでもファンの記憶に残るのは、1967年に発売予定だった幻のアルバム『スマイル』をソロ活動の中でついに完成させ、ライブで披露、そしてアルバムとしても待望のリリースが実現したことでしょう。自らが「神へのティーンエイジ・シンフォニー」と語ったその作品の輝きは、ファンの心に永遠の「微笑み」をもたらしました。
  ビーチ・ボーイズとしての活動も継続し、ライブ・エイドへの出演や、2012年にはブライアンを含むメンバーによる再結成アルバム『ゴッド・メイド・ザ・ラジオ〜神の創りしラジオ〜』をリリース。同年の来日公演では、幕張QVCマリンフィールド（当時の名称）にて夢のようなシーサイド・ライブを披露し、多くのファンを魅了しました。
  ブライアン・ウィルソンの奏でた素晴らしいバイブレーションが、これからも永遠に響き続けることを願って。
