A trusted standard has evolved even further. Renowned audio brand Shure has announced the new SLX-D+ Wireless System.
The highly acclaimed SLX-D digital wireless series—widely used in live performances, events, schools, and hall installations—has now been upgraded to SLX-D+, offering enhanced performance and functionality.
The new SLX-D+ inherits the series’ proven RF stability while expanding the latest Shure wireless technologies across the entire lineup. It supports up to 10 simultaneous channels in the B band (806–810 MHz), ensuring reliable operation even in environments with heavy RF congestion.
In terms of audio quality, SLX-D+ delivers clear and natural sound with 24-bit digital audio. In addition, all receivers are equipped with a digital feedback reducer, making feedback control easier and more effective.
For security, SLX-D+ supports AES-256 encryption. With ShowLink® Ease, users can remotely adjust transmitter settings and update firmware directly from the receiver, helping to streamline setup and operation. Monitoring and control are also available via Wireless Workbench® and mobile apps, improving overall system management.
In addition to the already available 4-channel receivers, the lineup now includes 1-channel and 2-channel receivers, as well as handheld transmitters, bodypack transmitters, and portable receivers. This wide range allows flexible system configuration for live sound, conferences, educational facilities, and permanent installations.
Please note that with the launch of the new SLX-D+ series, the existing SLX-D series will be gradually discontinued.
The SLX-D+ Wireless System is scheduled for release on March 4, 2026.
