  従来までのCDJシリーズと比較してネットワーク機能が大幅にアップデートされており、内蔵Wi-Fiによるインターネット接続、各種クラウドやストリーミングサービスとの連携による楽曲再生を実現。CDJ-3000よりも大型になった10.1インチディスプレイや可変抵抗の調整幅の広がったジョグホイール、内部構造を見直したことでさらなる高耐久を実現したPLAY/CUEボタンなど、演奏性や機能性の面でも大きくブラッシュアップが図られています。
