  This year, we visited many places for YOITOKO and met many people. During the visits, we also worked on a project called “Yoitoko Smile ♫”, which had local “Yoitoko” ("good points") written on a special narrow sheet of paper. We collected a total of 110 sheets! In appreciation of everyone who cooperated, we wrote a song, a Sound House-style song, using the words of "local love" that filled the sheets!

• Bowie cover using an electronic Stylophone! ?

  The Stylophone is a small electronic musical instrument that was popular in England in the 1970s as a toy instrument for children.It is a small synthesizer for children that produce sounds by tracing the keyboard with the attached pen. Although it is a toy musical instrument, it was also known to have been used in a variety of rock classics, and there is also a currently active Stylophone Orchestra at Britain's Kingston University.
  It is a musical instrument that has been loved by a wide range of musicians. David Bowie incorporated the instrument early in 1969 in the sessions for his hit song "Space Oddity". Bowie also took out the Stylophone and played "Space Oddity" on it on the stage during the Japan tour in 2004. And now in 2019, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of "Space Oddity". This time, the Kingston University Stylophone Orchestra recorded a cover of "Space Oddity" with Bowie's producer Tony Visconti. The cover version also includes vocals. It is a fantastic, impressive arrangement in Mondo Music style that does not lose by much to the original.
  The cover version is a must-hear for Bowie fans, and currently the project can also be seen in video.

• Mandola and Mandoloncello now available!

  We are now handling the Mandola, which is one size larger than a regular mandolin, and the even larger Mandoloncello. They are popular for their deep tones, and are mainly used in mandolin orchestras and ensembles. We have a lineup of 25 instruments, starting from the long-established Italian brand, Calace, to domestic brands such as SUZUKI VIOLIN and Miyano Mandolin. There are also affordable domestic brand models for under 100,000 yen. We are currently increasing our lineup of related items such as cases and strings as well, so please check back often!
