• Gary Brooker, Singer for Procol Harum, Dies at 76

  Procol Harum, a British rock group known for the big hit of their debut song "A Whiter Shade of Blue" released in 1967. Its core member, Gary Brooker, dies. He was 76 years old.
  The band became one of the most popular British rock bands of the 1970s, leaving behind the masterpiece "Grand Hotel" where the fusion of rock and classical music reached the highest peak.
  He was also a musician loved by Beatles members such as Paul McCartney's sessions and participation in the Ringo Starr & His All Star Band.
