  Industry stalwart Sweetwater Sound has announced that Chuck Surack became a chairman of the company’s board and executive vice president John Hopkins became the new CEO. In July, it was reported that US investment firm Providence Equity Partners L.L.C. held a majority stake in the company, but Surack commented that it would continue to provide the same services as before.
