  On November 20, YAMAHA will release a new type of digital saxophone, the YDS-150. The mouthpiece, reed, and ligature are the same type as the alto saxophone, making them easy for anyone to play and handle. Since the key arrangement is as close as possible to the saxophone, experienced wind instrument players will be able to play smoothly. Of particular note is Yamaha's unique bell-integrated acoustic sound system. Sound and vibration are transmitted from the digital unit to a yellow brass bell like that of a soprano saxophone, and the entire instrument resonates. Since the vibration of the instrument is transmitted to the keys and mouthpiece, you can have the feeling of playing a raw saxophone. Of course, it is possible to change the volume and tone according to breath pressure. With 15-step adjustment of the basic volume and headphones out, you can easily play at any time and place. In addition to 56 types of saxophone sounds, 17 types of digital sound sources are also included. If you install the dedicated app on your smartphone or tablet, you can make detailed settings such as tones, effects, and fingering via a Bluetooth connection.   What is Open Wrap?
  A normal tenor bass trombone has a structure called traditional wrap in which the tube is bent several times through the valve to attach an F tube.
  The open wrap has less bending of the tube, so the resistance when using the F tube is reduced.
