YAMAHA introduces the new Acompass 60 acoustic guitar amplifier, designed to deliver natural-sounding vocals and acoustic guitar tones with intuitive controls. The amplifier is scheduled for release in early December 2026.

At the heart of the Acompass 60 is the "True Acoustic Voice" concept, which faithfully reproduces the natural sound of both vocals and guitars. Drawing on Yamaha's extensive expertise in acoustic guitars, PA equipment, and professional audio technology, the amplifier delivers the rich resonance of acoustic instruments and the subtle nuances of vocal performances with exceptional clarity and authenticity.

The Acompass 60 features two independent channels: GUITAR and VOCAL/INST. Both channels are equipped with Yamaha's proprietary high-quality D-PRE microphone preamps. Combined with a specially designed 8-inch full-range speaker, the amplifier delivers excellent sound quality for both guitar and vocals.

A comprehensive range of tone-shaping features is also included. In addition to a 3-band EQ, the Acompass 60 offers AMBIENCE to enhance the natural airiness of acoustic guitar tones, ENHANCER to improve clarity, and COMP to control vocal dynamics smoothly. It also features REVERB and a FEEDBACK SUPPRESSOR that automatically reduces unwanted feedback.

Despite its powerful 60 W output, the Acompass 60 weighs approximately 8.2 kg and features a compact design, making it ideal for everything from playing at home to intimate café gigs. It also includes an XLR line output for convenient connection to PA systems, as well as Bluetooth and AUX inputs for playing along with backing tracks.

Whether you're a singer-songwriter performing with an acoustic guitar or a guitarist seeking natural, high-quality acoustic tone and intuitive controls, the Acompass 60 is an excellent choice for serious acoustic performances.
