Based on the standard STAR Reserve Bubinga/Walnut model, this special edition features a modified shell depth and outer ply. The hybrid shell, combining walnut and bubinga, delivers a full-bodied, sweet tone with a rich, powerful low-to-midrange response. The shallow 5-inch shell also produces a clear, articulate sound with excellent definition.
The outer ply is made of Cordia, which features a beautiful wood grain, while the gloss finish gives the drum a luxurious appearance.
