SHURE is expanding its professional KSM condenser microphone series with three newly designed models: the KSM32C, KSM40C, and KSM44MP. All four configurations will be available beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026.

The new KSM models are engineered to faithfully capture every nuance of the original source with natural sound and exceptionally low self-noise. Precision-engineered capsules and circuitry are housed in compact, premium all-metal bodies, making these microphones ideal for everything from home studios to professional recording environments.

KSM32C/HM-J (Stage Kit)
This cardioid model features a precision-engineered 3/4-inch capsule that provides exceptional off-axis rejection and the flattest voicing in the KSM series. It delivers a smooth, balanced, and neutral sound with remarkably rich low-frequency performance for its compact size. Ideal for vocals, instruments, drum overheads, and ensembles, the Stage Kit includes a windscreen, hard mount, carrying case, and other accessories for convenient use in live performance settings.

KSM32C/SM-J (Studio Kit)
The Studio Kit features the same KSM32C microphone as the KSM32C/HM-J but includes a shock mount to reduce vibration noise and an easily removable magnetic pop filter. It is an excellent choice for capturing the fine details of vocals, voiceovers, acoustic instruments, and other sources in the studio.

KSM40C-J
The KSM40C-J is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone equipped with a precision-engineered 1-inch capsule. It combines a rich low end with smooth, natural high-frequency detail, producing a full, present sound that remains easy on the ears and sits beautifully in a mix. It is ideal for vocals as well as acoustic instruments, upright bass, guitar amplifiers, and kick drums. A low-cut filter and -15 dB pad provide the flexibility needed to handle a wide range of sound sources.

KSM44MP-J
The flagship model of the series features a 1-inch dual-diaphragm design and selectable cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional polar patterns. Its largely flat frequency response is complemented by a subtle high-frequency lift, naturally reproducing air, overtones, and fine sonic detail. Excellent polar-pattern consistency at low frequencies also makes it a versatile choice for recording vocals, piano, ensembles, ambient sound, and many other sources, as well as for stereo miking.
