We have received a selection of nyckelharpa strings from Prim, a long-established Swedish string manufacturer founded in 1943.
The nyckelharpa is a traditional Swedish bowed string instrument with roots in the Uppland region north of Stockholm. Prim began manufacturing nyckelharpa strings in the 1980s in collaboration with Swedish instrument makers. Today, as the world's only manufacturer of all four playing strings used on the instrument, Prim continues to support the authentic sound of the Swedish nyckelharpa.
