YAMAHA has introduced RicoFit, a playing guide designed to support proper fingering on the recorder!

By attaching it to the body of the recorder, the positions of the left and right hands and the orientation of the fingers become intuitively clear, helping players develop a feel for correctly covering the tone holes with the pads of their fingers. It is made of a cushioned material, which also makes the recorder easier to hold. Designed not to press against the finger joints, it minimizes interference with finger movement during playing. Once players get used to it, they can even remove parts of the guide for practice. Furthermore, by positioning the guide away from the tone holes, it minimizes any impact on the recorder’s natural tone and pitch.

Recommended for children just starting out on the recorder and for anyone who struggles with fingering. This item gently supports your first steps in playing, helping you progress from the joy of producing sound to the joy of musical expression.
