Hajime Nogami / Marching Producer, Percussionist, and Drummer Hajime Nogami studied percussion in the wind ensemble program at Kashiwa High School under Shuichi Ishida. After graduation, he attended Riverside Community College in California, USA, where he studied jazz drums, marching percussion, and concert percussion. In 2002, he was part of a championship-winning ensemble at WGI.
After returning to Japan, he pursued a career as a performer while also teaching marching bands and percussion. Today, he focuses primarily on show design and production while also working in arranging, composition, drill writing, staging, and music education.
Through his work, he has helped numerous ensembles advance to national-level competitions.
