    Lyndon Laney, Founder of Laney, Passes Away

    Lyndon Laney, founder of Laney Amplification and one of the pioneers of British musical instrument manufacturing, has passed away.

    Laney founded Laney Amplification in 1967. His foresight, dedication, and uncompromising commitment to quality allowed him to grow the company into a globally acclaimed and successful brand. His role in shaping the sound of numerous musicians, including his longtime friend Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, is immeasurable.

    Laney also demonstrated exceptional business acumen. Starting with his entry into the professional audio field, he developed the company into the current "Headstock Group," expanding his business into distribution and acquiring top brands. He made a significant contribution to the development of the musical instrument industry.

    His influence extended beyond business success. His warm personality, integrity, humor, and quiet determination earned him deep respect from everyone he interacted with.

    For over half a century, Lyndon Laney supported the infrastructure of music culture. We express our deepest gratitude for his immense contributions and offer our heartfelt condolences.
