La Bella, the veteran string manufacturer, has released guitar strings from its “Super Polished” series, along with signature strings from popular bassist Ian Martin Allison.

The standout feature is an exceptionally smooth surface finish, achieved through a proprietary special polishing machine. It maintains the transparent resonance characteristic of stainless steel while delivering a velvety feel that surpasses conventional half-round strings.

Guitar strings are available in three gauges: .009-.042, .010-.046, and .011-.050. They combine the expressiveness of roundwound strings with the playability of flatwound strings, ensuring stress-free playing even during fast passages.

The Ian Martin Allison Signature Bass Strings feature slightly thinner gauges (.045-.103, 5th string .125) compared to the existing Super Polished series (.047-.107, 5th string .125), offering an appealing balance of tension and harmonics.
