Since its 2014 release, the “ audio technica ATH-M50x” monitor headphones have been beloved by professional musicians, engineers, and music fans worldwide. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of its debut, the 2025 limited-edition color model “ENSO” is now available.
“ENSO” (円相) refers to the circle drawn in a single stroke in Japanese ink painting. This motif, symbolizing the cycle of life and perfect beauty, evokes a return to the ATH-M50x’s iconic ring design and original black color.
The housing features a matte-black finish with a special design engraved with brushstrokes and sound waveforms. Each unit is unique, bearing a limited-edition serial number. Additionally, it comes with a special bonus item created in collaboration with the Kyoto dyeing workshop “Baba Some Kōjō”.
