The Synth-a-Sette, a pocket-sized analog synthesizer that lets you learn about music and electronics while playing, has been announced!
Synth-a-Sette is a new creative tool that stimulates your curiosity to "make your own musical instrument!" Using the included alligator clips, you can quickly turn various conductive objects around you, such as bananas, aluminum foil, and even pencil lines, into musical instrument keys! You can create your unique keyboard while experiencing the ease with which electricity passes (conductivity).
It also has a full range of functions as a synthesizer. In addition to the 13-key monophonic (single note) touchpad, it supports two octaves with the octave up button. It can play a wide range of melodies. It also has a vibrato switch, allowing you to enjoy expressive sounds.
Equipped with a built-in speaker, you can start playing immediately by inserting AAA batteries (included), and you can also connect to external devices via the line output. Everything fits into a cassette case size, making it easy to carry. You can give shape to your inspiration anytime, anywhere.
The retail price is 9,900 yen (tax included), and the release date is scheduled for July 18th.
