The German percussion manufacturer Sela Cajon has released a new series of unique and ideal percussion instruments called the “Iconic Edition” series, which combines three instruments into one cajon!
The instrument is shipped with special heads for bongos/congas and darbuka. You can replace these with the five other heads (djembe, bongos/congas, darbuka, mshondo, and Peru cajon), which are available for separate purchases to suit your preferred sound and style. The wood used for the main body of the cajon is a lineup of Ziricote, which has a deep, rich tone; Limba, which has a rich, soft tone; and Oak roots, which has a powerful, hard tone.
