The much-anticipated Ashdown, a manufacturer of bass peripherals, has released two Signature Model Bass Amp Heads!
The “RB-800”, which was developed in collaboration with Pantera's Rex Brown is a unit that combines the warm tone characteristic of Ashdown with the gritty sound that is Rex's trademark.
It is equipped with a 5-band EQ, drive, and subharmonic control, allowing for a wide range of sound creation. In addition, it is equipped with an Analogue Cab Sim DI output that allows players who use in-ear monitors to monitor the sound through the cabinet in response to the needs of players who use in-ear monitors.
The SO-1200, which was developed in collaboration with System of a Down's Shavo Odadjian is a 1,200W model that can be used on even the largest of stages. It is equipped with advanced tools such as a 9-band EQ that enables detailed sound creation, an overdrive using a 12AX7 vacuum tube, a compressor that achieves dynamic control, and a subharmonic generator that produces overwhelming low-end bass.
