Taro Kida, a multi-talented man known for many years as " Mozart of Naniwa" and also known for composing the hit song "Aho no Sakata' passed away on May 14th. He was 93.
In particular, from the 1970s to the 1980s, he created timeless melodies that anyone who lived through the Showa era could hum, including theme songs for hugely popular TV programs such as "2ji no Wide Show," "Proposal Daisakusen," and "Love Attack!," as well as commercial songs for "Chicken Ramen," "Demae Iccho," and "Koyama Yuenchi," which became synonymous with Kinzo Sakura. Asahi Broadcasting's popular variety show "Detective! Night Scoop", I think many people were overwhelmed by the exquisite interactions he had as the top advisor with past station chiefs and detective comedians.
We sincerely pray for the repose of the soul of Mr. Taro Kida, who has marched along Naniwa's entertainment road for many years.
