Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop have teamed up to bring you the 1959 LesPaul Standard, a stunning reproduction of a rare vintage classic from the 1959 model year! The body is constructed of mahogany and has a maple top with AAA-grade flame maple veneer. The 59-rounded medium C-profile one-piece mahogany neck is jointed with long neck tenons and the Gibson-style open book R9 headstock shape. In addition, it features a vintage original scene finish, GibsonCustombucker humbucking pickups, 50s-style wiring, Mallory condensers, and a pickguard that is not beveled like the original and Epiphone deluxe vintage tuners, all contributing to its rich vintage sound.
