We have received the Ibanez fretless basses "SRD900F-BTL" (4-string) and "SRD905F-BTL" (5-string)!
The body is made of Okoume wood, which is known for its excellent mid- to low-range characteristics. It is topped with Exotic Maple, which provides a crisp attack and bright high-end tones. The half-hollow, half-solid body structure delivers an acoustic-like resonance in the low-end tone.
The pickups are equipped with "Big Break," developed based on Nordstrand's standard model "Big Single." They feature a split-coil structure that excels in noise cancellation, providing tighter highs and boomier lows. The saddles incorporate piezo elements, allowing for independent volume control and active tone control, plus volume adjustments for each string from the back panel of the body. This setup lets you finely craft an acoustic sound. With a 30-fret fingerboard extending up to 2.5 octaves, it is ideal for players who want to master the high-fret zones technically. The SRD models are designed to meet the varied performance demands of a fretless bass.
