AlphaTheta Corporation, which plans and develops Pioneer DJ products, has launched the new WAVE-EIGHT wireless DJ speaker with a built-in battery, ideal for DJ parties.
It has the independently developed SonicLink ultra-low latency wireless technology, which delivers a significantly lower latency than a Bluetooth connection. Furthermore, multiple units of this speaker can be connected wirelessly and switch between sound quality at the flick of a switch. Both wired/wireless and sound quality can be optimized and flexibly adapted to the situation. It incorporates a battery for up to 8 hours of continuous use and an IP rating of X4 waterproof. You can quickly build an authentic club-like sound, regardless of the location or scene.
Priced at JPY 135,300 (incl. tax), the product is scheduled to go on sale on 15 February (Thursday). Pre-orders are now being taken in advance of the start of sales.
