ALLPARTS, a leading supplier of guitar/bass parts in Japan and abroad, introduces the new "Leo Quan Badass" series of bass pegs developed in collaboration with Leo Quan!
The lightweight, high-precision pegs for 4-string basses are available in Y-key rotomatic and clover-key open gear types. Each is available in four colors: nickel, gold, black, and chrome.
The Y-key rotomatic type has two patterns, L2R2 and L4, and is designed as a direct replacement for Ibanez and Schechter basses.
Clover Key Open Gear is only available in L4 arrangement in two patterns: 12mm small post and 14mm large post, designed as a direct replacement for Squier and Fender bases.
The use of a cast base plate instead of the traditional punched design provides improved stability and surface contact with the rear of the headstock, and the machined brass gears (20:1 gear ratio) ensure smooth movement. Slip is minimized, and tuning accuracy is improved. The gear is approximately 20% lighter than those of other companies and contributes significantly to improving the weight balance of the instrument.
