The latest addition to Pioneer DJ's PCDJ controller lineup is the DDJ-REV5, the "REV series" within the DDJ series. It has features designed explicitly for open-format and scratch DJing.

The new DDJ-REV5 delivers authentic scratching and innovative new features and has a PAD button that allows users to take advantage of Serato DJ Pro's new STEMS function. Creative live mashups and remixes are now possible. In addition, the new industry-first AUTO BPM TRANSITION function can be operated at the touch of a button, enabling more seamless and creative mixing without being bound by BPM than ever before.

The estimated retail price is 159,500 JPY (including tax), and the product is scheduled for sale on September 21 (Thursday). Pre-orders are now being taken in advance of the release.
