Takehiko "shake" Kogure and other musicians who love Pink Floyd have formed a Pink Floyd tribute band called "Genshi Shimbo." It is still fresh in our minds that last year the band blew British rock fans away by recreating "Atom Heart Mother" with an orchestra and chorus.
Starting in Nagano on Tuesday, November 22, the band will be touring to perform the Pink Floyd album "Obscured by Clouds" again. At the end of the year, they'll be performing in Tokyo and Osaka! The Tokyo and Osaka shows will feature a gorgeous re-performance of "Atom Heart Mother" with a brass orchestra, including a cello (Tokyo will even have a chorus group!). The live performance will provide a live experience of Pink Floyd's journey to their masterpiece, "The Dark Side of the Moon." Moreover, they plan to perform an all-time best selection of songs, including "Animals," the long-awaited 45th-anniversary edition recently released. It is a show not to be missed by fans of the Genshi Shimbo who have seen them perform live in the past, but also by the rock fans who have not seen them. The dates for the Tokyo and Osaka shows are as follows. And be sure to have the audience in awe and the place abuzz with excitement,
2022/12/29 (Thu) Ajien Universe, Osaka
Supporting Players: Brass Band, Cello
2022/12/30 (Fri) Tokyo, Roppongi EX THEATER
