GENSHI SHINBO is a Pink Floyd tribute band formed by Takehiko "shake" Kogure (RED WARRIORS) and other musicians who love Pink Floyd. They are renowned for their high level of performance that shows off spectacular live performances. Celebrating their 10th anniversary, the band has announced their live concerts where they will mainly perform the reproduction of Pink Floyd's hidden masterpiece, OBSCURED BY CLOUDS, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of its release this year.

OBSCURED BY CLOUDS was released as the soundtrack for the French film LA VALLÉE in 1972. Since this album is a soundtrack, many of the songs are pop and easy to listen to, some songs contain the strong presence of Gilmour's guitar. On the other hand, the album starts from the bold introduction of synthesizer with a sense of "Wish You Were Here" and contains solid rock songs reminiscent of ANIMALS and THE WALL. OBSCURED BY CLOUDS is a wonderful album where you can enjoy various aspects of Pink Floyd.
