The latest model of wireless headphones, WH-1000XM5, is now available from SONY. The noise cancellation performance, which was highly acclaimed in the previous model, is now even higher-performance and features multi-noise sensor technology with a total of eight microphones. This effectively reduces noise in the mid- and high-frequency range, allowing users to enjoy music, watching videos, and making online calls without being affected by ambient noise. The driver unit incorporates proprietary technologies incorporated into the design and development of the Walkman to achieve a sense of sound localization, transparent and lustrous sound without distortion, and high original sound reproduction capability. It also features a long battery life for on-the-go use, with up to 30 hours of continuous music playback with noise cancellation turned on, and up to 40 hours of continuous music playback with noise cancellation turned off. Furthermore, it is compatible with USB PD, a standard rapid charging, and can provide approximately 3 hours of playback on a 3-minute charge. The product is scheduled to go on sale on May 27.
