    In the early 1960s, the guitar instrument group that swept the world with hit songs such as "Walk Don't Run" and "Diamond Head" and instilled electric guitar culture in Japan. The Ventures, its core member, Don Wilson, has died on January 22, according to his daughter Stacy Rainn Wilson. He was 88 years old. The Ventures have released more than 100 albums over the course of their long career, including some planned in Japan. He also performed live activities energetically, and was known as friendly toward Japan band with more than 70 visits to Japan. Many Japanese artists cover them in the "Japanese ballad" and rock scene.
    Although he has retired since 2015, Don Wilson has made great achievements for the rock scene in the future, such as launching an indie label.
