The Ventures, its core member, Don Wilson, has died on January 22, according to his daughter Stacy Rainn Wilson. He was 88 years old. The Ventures have released more than 100 albums over the course of their long career, including some planned in Japan. He also performed live activities energetically, and was known as friendly toward Japan band with more than 70 visits to Japan.
