EARTHQUAKER DEVICES'Hizumitas faithfully reproduces the sound of the fuzz pedal ELK Sustainar owned by Boris guitarist Wata. The original ELK Sustainar is a Japanese-made fuzz pedal based on the Big Muff/Triangle period. According to EARTHQUAKER DEVICES, Wata's own individuals had a different sound than any of the Big Muffs or ELK Sustainar tested. While reproducing its unique edge, sustain, and sound, it is packed into a compact housing and is easy to incorporate into the pedal board.
