Akira Wada, one of Japan's leading guitarists, died on March 28th at the age of 64. Since his debut in 1977 with PRISM, the pioneer of Japanese fusion bands, the artist had been active in joining many band sessions and his own solo projects while leading PRISM. He had been receiving medical treatment since the end of 2018. Rest in peace.
