Record Day (sponsored by Toyo Kasei), which was originally launched for the purpose of experiencing and enjoying the nostalgia of analog records, will be held on November 3rd. This is the 6th anniversary of the event. In addition to selling limited edition items and records at affiliated record shops nationwide, events are scheduled to be held.
The first soundtrack LPs for Studio Ghibli's "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle", 6 solo works by Haruomi Hosono, the treasure of the Japanese music world, and the long-awaited analog version of Vaundy's 1st album will be released with support from Spotify.
Actor, Yoshiyoshi Arakawa, who is also a DJ and analog record enthusiast, has been selected as this year's image. The interview is open to the public on the official website.
