Hybrid reed models from domestic manufacturer, Forestone, have arrived. The reeds are produced from approximately 50% domestically produced bamboo fiber blended with polypropylene to provide the material stability as well as a tone and elasticity close to that of natural reeds. Also, unlike other manufacturers' resin reeds, these can be processed to suit the player's preferences.
The features of each model are as follows.

【 Traditional 】
A filed (French) cut with straight, thin steps is used under the U-shaped part. Of the 4 models, the tip has the highest strength and is recommended for users who are getting a resin reed for the first time.

【 Black Bamboo 】
A resilient reed that contains carbon in addition to bamboo fiber with a filed (French) cut. Soft sound suitable for classical music and brass band.

【 Hinoki 】
A bright sound that contains many overtones. Uses an unfiled (American) cut. A very popular model for JAZZ players.

【 White Bamboo 】
A model that pursues a tone close to that of a cane reed. A combination of materials similar to the Cypress series, with a filed (French) cut. Good response can be obtained and they are recommended for any genre.
