We've started handling Nagauta shamisen used in Nagauta (Japanese classical music). The main body is made of Karin wood (African Red Oak), and the skin is dog skin (kenpi). The lineup includes three types: "middle", which is reasonably priced and ideal for beginners, and "top" and "special" models, which use the highest-grade of Karin wood available. We also have an accessory set that includes everything you need to take up playing shamisen, including a soft case, bachi (pick for shamisen), tuner, instruction book, and so on.
