Red Hot Chili Peppers has announced the retirement of guitarist Josh Klinghoffer and the return of John Frusciante on the official Instagram account.
Josh started performing with the band as a backing musician during the “Stadium Arcadium” tour in 2007, and officially joined after John left the band in 2009. You can hear John's emotional guitar playing and attractive singing voice on the albums “I'm with You” and “The Getaway”. John joined the band in 1988 to replace Hillel Slovak, the original Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist. After leaving in 1992, he rejoined again in 1999, and left again in 2009. Now he is back again. It is so exciting to hear John's music after his solo activities.
