Foldable Stage Explained!

Up until now, I have introduced assembly-type stages in my blog, where the platform and legs are separate parts. But, did you know that we also carry stages where the legs and platform are integrated into a single unit? In this post, we’ll be taking a closer look at these one-piece foldable stages!

Basic Information

Size: 2 x 1 m
Height: Adjustable to three levels – 20 cm, 40 cm, 60 cm

Included Accessories

① Casters
② Stage-connection brackets
③ Foldable stage components
Other than these, there is generally no need to purchase additional items.

① Casters

The stage unit and casters are packaged separately. Once the casters are attached, the stage becomes portable.

Included are four casters: two swivel casters for free movement, and two fixed-direction casters.
All casters are equipped with locking mechanisms, allowing the stage to be securely fixed in place when needed.

② Stage-Connection Brackets

There are three parts included for connecting multiple stage units, as shown below.

Attach these parts to the areas marked with red circles in the diagram to securely link multiple stage units together. ◎

From underneath, it looks like this: one side of the stage is fixed with a screw, and the other side is slotted into place.

③ Foldable Stage Locking Parts

These parts are included to prevent the stage from accidentally unfolding when it’s in the folded position.
As shown below, they are fitted from the top when the stage is folded.

Now, where do you think parts ② and ③ are stored?
Actually, all of these parts are pre-installed on the underside of the stage platform!
By detaching them, you can use them as needed.

Additionally, if you want to fix the stage at a height of 20 cm, you can remove the legs attached underneath the stage and configure it as a 20 cm-high stage.

Surface Finish

There are two types of surface materials available: carpet and industrial.
The carpet type has a grayish-black appearance, while the industrial type features a glossy black finish.

Assembly Instructions

In the video, you can see a woman assembling the stage by herself, but since the unit is quite heavy, we strongly recommend assembling it with two or more people for safety.
The legs can be quite stiff when unfolding, so using a rubber mallet can help make the process smoother.

*Caution: if the height of the left and right legs is uneven, the stage can become unstable and pose a safety risk.
