Ashdown Combo Amp STUDIO Series!

What is Ashdown?

ASHDOWN / STUDIO JNR

The STUDIO JNR is the smallest model in the STUDIO series, weighing in at only 5.5 kg, but with 15 watts of output through a custom-designed 8-inch speaker and a 3-band EQ for Bass,Midrange, and Treble for attentive sound creation! It also has a jack for practicing with headphones and a LINE input jack for practicing while playing music from a smartphone or other device! This amp is mainly recommended as an amp for home practice. It’s also very lightweight, so you can take it with you wherever you go!

Ashdown / STUDIO 8

The STUDIO 8 is a larger model than the STUDIO JNR, offering ASHDOWN's unique premium tone. Like the STUDIO JNR, it has a 3-band EQ (Bass, Midrange, and Treble), a headphone output, and a LINE input, as well as a LINE MIX control. The volume of the LINE input can also be adjusted with the LINE MIX control! Not only for home practice use, but also for studio practice at club activities and a little acoustic live performance would be available from this size. It weighs about 6.1 kg, so I recommend this one for those who want a lightweight unit and still have a certain amount of output!

Ashdown / STUDIO 10

The STUDIO 10 is a lightweight and also a powerful combo amp! Although it weighs only 7 kg, it can output 50 watts from a 10-inch speaker and has EQs for Bass, Midrange, Treble, Lo-mid, and Hi- mid, so you can create the sound however you like! There is also a passive/active switch, so you don't have to worry about sound cracking even if you connect an active bass! You can also switch to active mode for passive basses when the sound is too loud with pedals or when the speakers get too jumpy. In addition, there are also pregain, drive controls, and a shape switch, so it can be used live as well!

ASHDOWN ( ASHDOWN ) / STUDIO 12

The STUDIO 12 has revolutionized the world of bass amps, weighing in at 10.3 kg, it may seem a little heavier than the STUDIO 8 and STUDIO 10, but with a 12-inch speaker it can deliver 100 watts of power! The EQ is 5-band, just like the STUDIO 12, with a passive/active switch, pregain and drive controls, and a shape switch. In addition to that, the STUDIO 12 also has an XLR DI output, a footswitch to switch between clean/drive, and an FX loop to connect the modulation pedal separately!

ASHDOWN ( ASHDOWN ) / STUDIO-210

For those who want a more professional combo amp for medium-sized gigs, the STUDIO-210 is the perfect choice! Despite its 300W output capacity, the STUDIO-210 weighs only 11.3 kg, which is not much different from the STUDIO 12 due to the use of ultra light poplar plywood and lightweight NEO speakers. Specifications are exactly the same as the STUDIO 12, with a 5-band EQ, passive/active switch, pre-gain and drive controls, shape switch, XLR DI output, a clean/drive footswitch, and FX loop!

ASHDOWN ( ASHDOWN ) / STUDIO-15

For live use, I recommend the STUDIO-15! It’s equipped with a single 15-inch NEO speaker and has a very powerful output of 300W! Like the other STUDIO series, it weighs only about 11.2 kg, which makes it easy to carry around. The specifications are exactly the same as those of the STUDIO 12 and the STUDIO-210: 5-band EQ, passive/active selector switch, pre-gain and drive controls, shape switch, XLR DI output, clean/drive footswitch, and FX loop.Setting the EQ to 12 o'clock produces a warmer and more accurate tone.
