Yay! The long-awaited JVC portable power stations (Powered by Jackery) are now available for purchase at Sound House!
Congratulations and thank you!!

So, in this article, I’d like to cover various aspects of portable power stations.
(I’ll keep it simple.)
■ What is a Portable Power Station?
As the name suggests, it’s a portable power source. Most portable power stations come with AC outlets, allowing you to use small appliances like computers, fans, and electric blankets in places without power. Recently, there are also large-capacity, high-output models that can run refrigerators and hair dryers. Charging is usually done through a home outlet, but on sunny days, you can also use an optional solar panel or a car’s cigarette lighter socket while on the move.
■ When is it Useful?
For outdoor activities like camping, BBQs, or road trips, you can charge smartphones, run fans on hot days, use electric blankets or heated carpets on cold days, light up LED lanterns at night, and even watch movies with a projector. Where you can’t use fire, you can also cook with an electric griddle or induction heater (depending on the power rating of your portable power station).
This means that it’s also very handy in case of a power outage.
■ How Does it Compare to a Mobile Battery or Generator?
Mobile batteries usually only have USB outputs and are smaller with limited applications. In contrast, portable power stations are large-capacity, high-output, and come with AC outlets, USB ports, and cigarette lighter sockets.
Generators require fuel like gasoline, emit exhaust, and are noisy, whereas portable power stations are nearly silent and have no exhaust. Portable power stations are quiet companions that provide a steady source of power.

JVC / BH-SP68A-H Portable Solar Panel
JVC / BH-SP100A-H Portable Solar Panel
These solar panels allow you to charge using sunlight. How eco-friendly!
I once saw a family on a TV show who charged their portable power station with solar panels during the day and used that power to minimize electricity usage at night. They even enjoyed it, showing how strong such people can be upon emergencies.
Finally, the look and beige color of JVC’s portable power stations are simply the best. They match perfectly with our tent (´∀`*)
So, we look forward to your orders!
That’s all!
