About MD435 / MD445
Sennheiser has released a high-end dynamic microphone with full potential.
Accessories

Included in the package is the microphone itself, a microphone case, a windscreen, and a microphone holder. The windscreen is packed and fairly compact. The microphone holder comes with a 5/8 to 3/8 conversion screw.
Microphone Size

Grip thickness varies by manufacturer, but MD435 is a standard size and easy to grip. It weighs 350g, which is slightly heavier than the SM58, but not a weight to be concerned about.
Lightweight Aluminum-Copper Voice Coil for Fast Response

Microphones generate electricity when the internal coil vibrates. A lightweight voice coil is used for quicker response and direct, fine detail expression.
Spring-mounted capsule to reduce handling noise

When you press the capsule with your finger, you can see that there is a spring inside. This structure has succeeded in greatly reducing handling noise.
Impressions from Use
Handling Noise
I held the microphone several times to verify how much noise was mixed in. It did not bother me at all, and when I switched the microphone from my right hand to my left, I could hear a little noise.
I did not notice it at all in the situation where I was recording the sound by speaking out loud.
Directivity
I checked the directivity of the MD435 / MD445. Both are quite good, picking up very little audio outside of the front of the microphone. I set the microphones on a tabletop stand to see if the sound of a keyboard keystroke would be mixed in. When I turned the GAIN all the way up, I could hear a typing sound, but it seemed to be picking up reflected sound from the wall. I could not feel the difference in directivity between MD435 and MD445 in this verification, but it may make a difference when used in a band.
It will be useful not only as a microphone for live vocals, but also as a microphone for streaming.
Sound Quality
I thought the only difference between the MD435 and MD445 was directivity, but I was surprised to hear a difference in sound quality as well. The MD435 has a natural sound, while the MD445 is more like a condenser microphone that captures more detail. The difference between MD445 and MD435 is like the difference between open and closed type headphones. Each has its own advantages and can be used according to preference. Of course, the basic sound is the same, and the transparency and presence stand out in all bands, making it a very high-level dynamic microphone. I recommend this microphone to creators who want to deliver expressive vocals and good sound while suppressing ambient noise.
