■ How to improve sound quality

There is a limit to the sound quality and image quality you can get with only a smartphone. I have recorded the sound of a piano with a smartphone, but sometimes the sound cracked, or was flat, and at times the sound and the image timing was off. In order to deliver high-quality sound, it is important to have other equipment such as a computer and microphone. If it's convenient, you can connect a USB microphone directly to your computer and use it.

■ Using various microphones

Those who are particular about sound may want to use a variety of microphones other than a USB type. *Please note that USB microphones and camera/computer microphones that use plug-in power cannot normally be used with an audio interface.

Depending on the specs of the software to be combined, only one channel of sound may be input even if the audio interface has multiple input terminals. For example, with a Notepad-5, the sound of channel 1 and channel 3/4 are input into the software in ZOOM meeting, but only the sound of channel 1 is sent to Skype.
