The GX-100 is a smart multi-effects unit that combines high-quality sound and smooth operation in a well-balanced way. The AIRD preamp inherited from the flagship GT-1000 provides the sound and feel of a tube amp. The combination of a highly visible color display and four knobs that support touch operation makes sound making rational and smooth.

■AIRD Preamp
The GX-100 is equipped with an AIRD amplifier inherited from the flagship model GT-1000. You can get dynamic tube amp sound and excellent response. The amplifier type is equipped with 23 high-quality types, including bass. You can choose from a wide range of characters, from classic styles to BOSS original models. If you use a dedicated app to load external IR data, the possibilities of sound creation will be further expanded.

■High-quality Effects
It is equipped with more than 150 types of the highest peak BOSS effects inherited from the flagship GT-1000. It covers a wide range of effects, from standard overdrive and distortion to active sound creation such as ring modulator. It also has effects using the algorithms of the X series, the highest peak of digital compact pedals, and effects designed specifically for bass. Reverb and delay support carryover, which allows reverberation to remain when turned off. It realizes natural sound switching when switching memories. In addition, by utilizing the SEND/RETURN terminals, you can incorporate not only your favorite effect pedals but also amplifiers into the routing using the 4-cable method. You can combine it with the GX-100's sounds and save it as a memory, then instantly recall it and play it.

■Highly flexible sound making
The GX-100's interface has a rational design. The highly visible color display supports touch operation, and when combined with the four knobs mounted below the display, smooth operation is possible. Operations that require large movements, such as adding effect blocks on the routing screen or changing the connection order, can be performed by dragging the display, and fine-tuning the parameters of each effect can be performed with the four knobs, allowing flexible operation according to the content to achieve comfortable editing.

■Highly flexible control
The tone control is equipped with MEMORY mode, which switches between pre-created memories, and MANUAL mode, which turns each effect on and off individually. The eight foot switches can also be used as switches to individually operate the set parameters. It also has a current number function that activates any function by pressing the foot switch of the selected memory again, so you can change the memory from backing to lead and then turn on the delay by pressing the same foot switch again. In addition, the expression pedal also supports a convenient use such as turning on the tuner when the volume is turned all the way down. Full control is possible with just the main unit. It also has an external expansion terminal, so you can add an expression pedal and use it as a volume pedal and pedal effect separately, or send an amplifier channel switching signal from the GX-100. It also supports MIDI control, so you can use the GX-100 as a control tower to operate various devices.

■Convenient functions
The GX-100 is a multi-effector that can be used in a variety of situations. You can record to a DAW using the USB audio interface function, and practice at home using the headphone jack. If you set up a looper in the effect block, you can not only perform solo performances, but also create sounds by repeating phrases.

■ Dedicated App
The GX-100 dedicated app BOSS TONE STUDIO (Windows/Mac) allows you to create sounds on your PC, and use the librarian function to back up, manage, and replace memories. By installing the optional Bluetooth? Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor (BT-DUAL), you can use BOSS TONE STUDIO (iOS/Android) wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet, and play audio via Bluetooth.
