• EBS Unveil the BassIQ Blue Label Pedal

  The EBS / Studio Edition series, which has been highly praised by bassists, has been renewed as the Blue Label series! Bass IQ Blue Label is a 100% analog bass envelope filter. It can be used like an auto wah or like a bass synth to produce a wide range of sounds. With the newly added “Q” control in the Blue Label series, the filter effect can be adjusted when the effect is ON. While providing the basic performance that was popular in the Studio Edition, each part has been upgraded to further enhance sound quality.

  This year, we visited many places for YOITOKO and met many people. During the visits, we also worked on a project called “Yoitoko Smile ♫”, which had local “Yoitoko” ("good points") written on a special narrow sheet of paper. We collected a total of 110 sheets! In appreciation of everyone who cooperated, we wrote a song, a Sound House-style song, using the words of "local love" that filled the sheets!

• Bowie cover using an electronic Stylophone! ?

  The Stylophone is a small electronic musical instrument that was popular in England in the 1970s as a toy instrument for children.It is a small synthesizer for children that produce sounds by tracing the keyboard with the attached pen. Although it is a toy musical instrument, it was also known to have been used in a variety of rock classics, and there is also a currently active Stylophone Orchestra at Britain's Kingston University.
  It is a musical instrument that has been loved by a wide range of musicians. David Bowie incorporated the instrument early in 1969 in the sessions for his hit song "Space Oddity". Bowie also took out the Stylophone and played "Space Oddity" on it on the stage during the Japan tour in 2004. And now in 2019, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of "Space Oddity". This time, the Kingston University Stylophone Orchestra recorded a cover of "Space Oddity" with Bowie's producer Tony Visconti. The cover version also includes vocals. It is a fantastic, impressive arrangement in Mondo Music style that does not lose by much to the original.
  The cover version is a must-hear for Bowie fans, and currently the project can also be seen in video.

  A new firmware update for the MIDAS / M32 series digital console, with up to 40 simultaneous input channels, has been released. Following V4.0, which included point-to-point routing and increased remote fader speeds, V4.01 allows switching between Fast and Normal. It also allows you to copy & paste Dual GEQ and other dual effects A→B and B→A. Other new features and improvements that incorporate user input and opinions, and fixes for known bug fixes are included. Please update your M32 Series to the latest version!
