  Christopher Olka (Tuba)
  Christopher Olka has served as Principal Tuba of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra since 2016. From 1999 to 2016, he held the position of Principal Tuba with both the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and Seattle Opera. He has served as principal tubaist with the All-Star Orchestra conducted by Gerard Schwarz and the Saito Kinen Orchestra conducted by Seiji Ozawa. He has also appeared as guest principal tubaist with numerous orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. From 1989 to 1996, he was a member of the performing staff at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and performed in numerous ensembles, including the world’s only full-time professional tuba quartet, the “TUBAFOURS.” As a soloist, he has performed extensively worldwide—collaborating with orchestras and wind ensembles, and giving masterclasses and solo recitals.
