  ROLAND has announced the TAIKO-1 electronic taiko.
  It is a new musical instrument in an unlikely genre, with a unique, novel look!
  The TAIKO-1 can play a wide variety of drum sounds, including long drums, taiko drums, and taiga drums, and can be used in a wide variety of ways depending limited only by your imagination. This is one model release that will be anxiously awaited!

• PEARL / TP-6NU urethane training pad released !!

  ■PEARL 「TP-6NU」
  
  The PEARL/TP-6NU, a training pad made of urethane material with excellent vibration proof properties, is now available! Based on the design of the long-selling TP-6N (soft rubber material) training pad, which is used in homes, schools, music classes, and so on, the new striking surface is made of two-layer urethane. Excellent anti-vibration & silent performance has been achieved. The stand is included like the TP-6N. The height can be adjusted up to a maximum of 900mm to support playing standing up. The stand can be folded, making it easy to carry. The feel is similar to a low pitch floor tom, and is perfect for practicing precise finger control.

  New snare drum models have been released by TAMA!
  The STAR Reserve "TBRS1455H" snare drum uses new parts and specs from other series models and is not bound by the framework of STAR Drums series. From the SLP (Sound Lab Project) series, which offers a rich lineup of shell materials, two new models are available: the "LSG1465-SNG" made of spotted gum, and the "LSS1465" that uses 1.2mm stainless steel.

  A new model has been released in ROLAND's electronic drum V-Drums series! The TD-27KV is equipped with the TD-27 module, which has a powerful expressive capabilities similar to those of the TD-50 flagship model. Digital pads are used for snares and rides, resulting in a easy to play compact set. In addition, it is equipped with a coaching mode to enhance practice and daily training, as well as a Bluetooth function for wireless connection with mobile devices. The TD-27KV can be used not only for practice at home, but also for studio work.

  The BSQ10S "SOFT SOUND BEATER" sponge beater reduces the volume of the bass drum just by replacing your current beater. The compact BSQ5S "HALF SOFT SOUND BEATER" for twin pedals is now available as well!
  It can be used for acoustic shows, performances on a small stages, as well as for practice. The weight is similar to the BSQ10S, so you can play as if you were using a pedal with a regular beater.

  New foot pedal beater and drum tuning key now available from YAMAHA! The original BT9 beater used in the FP9 flagship model foot pedal released this spring incorporates black into the beater felt, to produce a tough virile look. By including a special weight to the bottom of the beater, a powerful attack sound is obtained, enabling a wide range of sounds. The DK25 tuning key handle was designed with the same shape as the YAMAHA drum hardware wing bolt. The handle itself has been thinned around the keychain hole to reduce bulk, producing a new design that focuses on the ease of storage and transport.
