The carefully selected wood is outsourced and equipped with L(x) Alnico5 pickups. The hardware also uses reliable GOTOH products. In addition, the slim body shape makes it lighter than a typical Jazz Bass. It is easy to handle, reducing stress during performances. Controls include a passive Master Volume, Balancer, Master Tone, and a Hum Switch that allows series & parallel switching of two pickups. The design is a wrap painting inspired by Ayakono's dog "Hikaru", with an original design pickguard.
