  The popular bass clarinet is now available. The shape of the key and the finish have become more precise, and the operability and sound have been further improved. The case has been changed to a semi-hard type, making it convenient to carry. Key is Low E♭, and it has a durable resin body and leather pads unique to PLAYTECH, achieving an excellent cost performance at about 100,000 yen. It has been well received among bass clarinet players and brass band groups. The clarinet will be inspected prior to shipping by our staff, and we also perform repair and adjustment.   A large shank open wrap trombone, which is popular for orchestra and brass band, has been released from the PLAYTECH / PTSL-300 series!

  What is Open Wrap?
  A normal tenor bass trombone has a structure called traditional wrap in which the tube is bent several times through the valve to attach an F tube.
  The open wrap has less bending of the tube, so the resistance when using the F tube is reduced.

• Forestone Saxophone Clarinet Reeds arrives!

  Hybrid reed models from domestic manufacturer, Forestone, have arrived. The reeds are produced from approximately 50% domestically produced bamboo fiber blended with polypropylene to provide the material stability as well as a tone and elasticity close to that of natural reeds. Also, unlike other manufacturers' resin reeds, these can be processed to suit the player's preferences.
  The features of each model are as follows.
  
  【 Traditional 】
  A filed (French) cut with straight, thin steps is used under the U-shaped part. Of the 4 models, the tip has the highest strength and is recommended for users who are getting a resin reed for the first time.
  
  【 Black Bamboo 】
  A resilient reed that contains carbon in addition to bamboo fiber with a filed (French) cut. Soft sound suitable for classical music and brass band.
  
  【 Hinoki 】
  A bright sound that contains many overtones. Uses an unfiled (American) cut. A very popular model for JAZZ players.
  
  【 White Bamboo 】
  A model that pursues a tone close to that of a cane reed. A combination of materials similar to the Cypress series, with a filed (French) cut. Good response can be obtained and they are recommended for any genre.
