This model is the Epiphone version of the “Gibson Tamio Okuda J-45,” released in 2021, based on the 1945 Gibson J-45 that Tamio Okuda loved. Produced under the supervision of Tamio Okuda, the scallopedX-bracing inside the body gives it a deep sound reminiscent of avintage guitar that has been played for years, even though it is brandnew. On the visual side, the guitar features the same head shape as a Gibson called an open book headstock, as well as the same cream button type as a Gibson.
