The ATH-R50x open-type monitor headphones are now available from audio-technica.
Inheriting the sound of the flagship ATH-R70x model, the ATH-R50x offers a well-balanced reproduction frequency range from high to low frequencies. It provides clear sound without the noise characteristic of open-type loudspeakers, ideal for audio production. The housing section is made of punched aluminum mesh with a honeycomb structure, which controls airflow to reproduce a realistic sound field with high fidelity to the original sound. The extremely lightweight design, with a body weight of approximately 207g, ensures a comfortable fit even during prolonged use. Furthermore, the headpads and earpads are interchangeable. This unit is ideal for professional music production and monitoring.
